POSSOM Possom is a 14 year old Shetland mare, who is a favourite with the younger children. She loves gymkhana games and going out on hacks with the bigger horses. One of her favourite foods is wild garlic!
TINKERBELL Tinkerbell is our other Shetland, and is very gentle and quiet. She loves being groomed and cuddled. Her best friend is Possom.
ALICE Alice is a 22 years young Dartmoor pony who is very cheeky!
PONGO Pongo is our cowboy pony! He is an Appaloosa cross gelding and is 14 years old. Pongo is a very quiet pony so is used a lot for nervous riders, but he also loves jumping and going fast with those who are more confident.
BRADEY Bradey is a 15hh skewbald Cob, who is 16 years old. Bradey enjoys hacking and is friends with Bertie and Mostyn.
LOLLIPOP Lolly is a 14hh Welsh x Dales mare. When we bought Lolly no-one (vet included!) knew that she was in foal - her baby Cio-Cio lives with us still and is starting to be used in the school. Lolly loves to hack, and will look after even the most nervous or novice of riders.
MONTY Monty is a 12.3hh chestnut gelding, who is 15 years old. Monty was an RDA pony before joining us, and is a very good for children just starting to come off the lead rein. He also loves to jump!
TEDDY Teddy is a 13.2hh skewbald gelding. He grows a very thick, fluffy coat in the winter so some of the children think this is why he got his name! Teddy has sweet-itch, so wears a special rug in the summer to protect him from the midges.
ROSIE Rosie is a 14.2hh bay mare, and is 10 years old. She is an excellent jumper who loves to go fast! She is usually ridden by the older children and small adults, and is also used as an escort on hacks.
BERTIE Bertie is a 15hh piebald Cob. He can be ridden by both children and adults, and enjoys both lessons and hacks. In the winter, Bertie grows a thick curly moustache! He also loves being bathed.
POPPY Poppy is a 11.2hh Welsh pony. She is very pretty and cute! She is very good with the younger children on and off the lead rein.

MADAME MAYFAIR Mayfair is a 10 year old Hackney x Welsh Pony. She loves jumping and has been to several jumping competitions; and hates tinsel and sparkly things!
MOSTYN Mostyn is a 14.3hh Welsh Section D, and is 7 years old. Mostyn is a very cheeky horse, who still seems to think that he is a foal! He will play with anything, and loves racing around in the field with the other horses.
ZORRO Zorro, or Zoz, is an Arab/Welsh cross and is 15.2hh. He is a very sensitive boy who loves being preened and pampered. He is mainly ridden by the more experienced teenagers and adults, although he is also a very good lead rein horse for beginners.
SEBASTIEN Seb is a 15.3hh Percheron x Cob gelding. He is very good with novices and nervous riders as he is very steady and reliable. Seb loves his food and being fussed over.
PHOEBE Phoebe is a 14.1hh New Forest X mare, who is 7 years old. She was bred in her previous home with Harvey; we have her baby Whoopee here. Phoebe is very gentle and loves being groomed and handled by the children. She is a very good lead rein and riding pony.
ROSKAT Or Rugrat as she is most often called! She is a 19 year old Cob mare, who is very gentle and fun to ride. She is only used very lightly.
MAESTRO Maestro is a Welsh/Dartmoor cross and is 12hh. He can be a very speedy pony who loves hacking out with the horses and seems to never get tired. Maestro is also an excellent lead rein pony (he walks alongside you like a dog!) and is often used for riders just starting to come off the lead rein.
OLIVIA Olivia's full name is Copperhalt Princess Olivia, and she is a bay Welsh Section D. She is 7 years old. Olivia is mainly ridden by staff and helpers.
CIO-CIO SAN Cio Cio is Lolly's (surprise!) daughter. She is very quiet but can be very cheeky - she loves to knock her water bucket over on the yard.
TIA MARIA Tia is Sarah's own horse, who we have had since she was born. She is used a bit in the school. Tia can be very demanding: when she want's something she will wave a front hoof at you until she has it!
TABOO Taboo is our largest horse at 17.2hh. She is a bay Thoroughbred x Irish Draught mare, and is 13 years old. Taboo is an excellent jumper, and won the Six Bar class at Kingsbridge Show a few years ago. Her best friend is Harvey.
HECTOR Hector's real name is Mr Fudge. He is a 16.1hh grey gelding and is 15 years old. Hector did a lot of affiliated showjumping in his previous home.
COCO Coco is a horse we have here as a re-schooling project. She is 15hh and 12 years old. Whilst she is only ridden by staff, she is often groomed by the children as she is very quiet to handle on the ground.
SPRING Spring spent last summer with us on loan from a private home, and has stayed ever since! She is a very cheeky piebald pony, and she loves to be scratched. Spring is excellent with children with special needs.
FLORENCE Florry is a very beautiful Welsh Section D mare, who is 5 years old. She is still being schooled by staff, and is also used as an escort horse on hacks.
HUGO Hugo came from the same home as Seb. He is a Percheron x Irish Draught, and is 17hh. He is one of our largest horses, although he is very gentle and can even be groomed by the smallest children. Hugo is friends with Mostyn and Seb.
HARVEY Harvey is a 16hh Irish gelding, and is 8 years old. Harvey is very friendly and loves to be fussed over. Harvey and Taboo are very good friends - she gets quite jealous when other mares come near him!
WHOOPEE Whoopee is Phoebe and Harvey's daughter, who is 4 years old. She has been backed recently and is now being ridden by staff to prepare her for being used in the riding school one day. Whoopee loves to roll; in grass, sand and puddles as well!
